"We didn't look anywhere else because we had our (Apache) 790 for 9 seasons and had so few breakdowns. It was just very impressive. I was surprised with the resale value on it; it was almost as much as we paid for it new. It's a win - win for me. It's going to cost me less to buy and it's going to cost me less to own. What more can you ask for? It doesn't matter what piece of equipment you are buying, those are the two things you want: the lowest cost and the best return on your investment. I know it's giving me both."

"As we are spraying and watching that suspension work, it does reinforce how much shock it is absorbing, I can go through a bump or small dip or waterway and watch the front suspension flex to its maximum and I barely feel it. It's a visual reminder that 'boy, this is a pretty good ride!' It's doing what it's supposed to do to keep the booms level and the spray height constant."

"The frame on the Apaches absorbs a lot of the twists and the bumps in conjunction with the suspension. You can visibly see the frame flexing as it's going across the field. It lasts a lot longer than a fixed frame because it moves and the fixed frame can't move."

"With the ET Guardian Program, I don't know of any other company that comes out and services it bumper to bumper. It makes us real comfortable knowing that if there are any issues they are going to take care of them on the warranty."

"We crawl on a lot of steep hills over 40% slopes. My neighbors have started calling it the 'billy goat' because it just seems to crawl wherever I need it to go. Wet conditions, fully loaded—I don't hesitate to take it anywhere."

At night time when we are spraying it's very similar to spraying in the daytime. The headlights' range is like seeing in the daytime, it really is. As far as filling up at night, it's not a problem for us—plenty of lights on the machine. The LED light package on the side of the sprayer lets you see well."

"For us it comes down to having the timeliness to spray. Because of the suspension, we don't feel as bad at the end of the day—that adds a quality of life that is tough to quantify. We use less fuel per acre than our previous rig—the Apache takes less horsepower to get it across the ground. And, you can do it at a faster rate. All those things add up to a lot of dollars and sense."
