Testimonials

The ride, visibility, cab, and easy to use functions made the spraying season very enjoyable. The quietness in the cab is a real joy. I like the fact, unlike my hydrostatic machine, I do not have to run the throttle wide open. We have some pretty steep grade hills and the Apache had plenty of power to pull the hills. I was able to climb the hills with the Apache that I could not have even thought about with our hydrostatic drive machine. If I was being tendered, I feel that I could easily accomplish an 800 to 900 acre day with no problem. On a best day with my hydrostatic machine, I could cover 400 acres. I did 600 acres relatively easy with the AS1010 Apache. Our overall statisfaction with the Apache and Illini Sprayer Company has been everything that we were promised and more.

Owner of 5 Apache Sprayers!

At Bunkerhill Supply we feel that buying the Apaches was an efficient use of capital. We have been able to cover more acres in less time with the Apaches, so some of our long work days have gotten a little shorter. Our operators love the machines. They like the ease of operation and the comfortable ride of the Apache. The few times there was a problem we had little to no down time. Illini Sprayer Company provides excellent service. We have not missed having four wheel drive. Conditions this spring were very wet and the Apaches did a great job.

I bought an Apache because I like the simplicity of the mechanical drive train. I wanted more capacity than I had, yet I did not want a lot of weight. The Apache gave us that option.

When I was thinking about purchasing an Apache I was concerned that it was not four wheel drive. After this season, I feel that it is not needed.

Illini Sprayer has given us excellent service!

I have been operating an Apache now for several years. We just traded for a new AS1010 after this past season. I did get to spray a few thousand acres with it and I could not believe how they have improved the Apache sprayer. The power of this machine compared to our "01" 780 is unbelievable. The thing that is most important to me is the ride. I spend a lot of hours in that seat during the spray season and the nice ride that you get with the Apache is out of this world. The dependability of the Apache is also very important because every minute counts when the acres are there to spray and it is very important to be in the field spraying. We have had very few problems with our Apaches and that is another very important plus! I also like the great visibility you have with the new cab. You can literally see eveyrthing without looking around anything. I truly believe the Apache is a great machine for the custom applicator market. It does everything any of our competitive machines will do and just as good! I am really impressed with everything about the new Apache!

I have 7500 acres of dryland farming and was using a pull-behind sprayer. Every time I sprayed I lost efficiency due to the tractor taken away from the rest of the operation. While most of the ground is flat, 10% of the ground is over 40o. I needed horsepower when it came to the hills but I am price- sensitive and wanted the best price for the value. I never considered a hydrostatic unit.

I became interested in the Apache after searching the Internet and talking to current owners as to how the Apache handles the hills and how the company performs. The company supports its product with an unprecedented and unexcelled 1styear bumper-to-bumper warranty.

On the hills, the Apache will drive straight up a 40o hill, while on the flat ground we spend so much less time in the field than we ever did before. The Apache works. The company is good and the sprayer covers the ground. I would not own another brand of sprayer. Simple as that.

We are no-till farmers in an area where there are short windows to get things done. During those times we go fast and hard. We are married to our sprayer, and outside of our combine, it is the main tool we have to have.

We previously owned a hydrostat but purchased a mechanical drive Apache sprayer for several reasons. Due to its simplicity, we were able to buy a new unit with full factory warranty for the price of a used hydrostat. We trust the Cummins engine, and without all of the hydraulics it is a lighter machine for the power and far less maintenance. With its speed we can cover more ground in a day; it has shrunk the size of our farm. The Apache has never become stuck in wet ground except when it was an operator error.

We have even earned extra money spraying our neighbors' farms, when before we were consumed just trying to spray our own. The Apache keeps us in the Green. It will pay for itself in 1-2 years.

My brother and I farm in the Palouse region of easter Washington and Idaho. The Apache has done an excellent job spraying up, down, and across the hills, or wherever else I need to go. I cover from 600 to 800 acres per day. This is more than twice the amount I was able to spray using my pull sprayer.

I have been able to get all of my work donw during the season by timing my spraying to when conditions wer emost favorable. In fact, I have had so much extra time that I sprayed many of my neighbor's fields for additional income!

We farm in steep country, and there isn't anywhere on my 2500 acres we can't go with the Apache. The 2-wheel drive gear system will go anywhere a 4-wheel drive hydrostat will go and the gear system is far simpler and easier and less costly to maintain.

We are able to spray 900-1000 acres a day on one 90 gallon tank of fuel.

It's simply a matter of economics. Why not own a machine that will pay for itself in a few years?

I have been custom applying for 30 years and have owned floaters, hydrostat row crop units, Spray Coupes and even a Duck, yet nothing compares to my Apache. With the Apache we have increased our productivity 40% while decreasing our fuel consumption 30%. This is REAL MONEY!

When I purchased the Apache I gained in terms of speed, comfort, and reliability, and I can sleep at night knowing I don't own a hydrostat. If you're in the market for a sprayer it's worth taking a serious look at the Apache. Anyone who climbs into one and operates it will get it!

The Apache is an all-around great unit.

I purchased the Apache AS710 for the following reasons: Power, Comfort (it has a great suspension), and the ability to go through all our fields. In the Willamette Valley, we have some very rough terrain (hilly, wet, washouts) and the Apache handles it all.

The 2WD system with rear limited-slip differential and 4 speed torque-converted transmission goes a lot further than my previous sprayer which was a four-wheel drive hydrostatic machine. There are times when I have sunk down well over two feet and I was able to back out, while my old sprayer would have sat there stuck, with tires spinning. I have plenty of power for all of the hills.

The sprayer is weighted well, 30% front, 70% back, which minimizes packing or crop damage. The suspension system allows "walking" of the axles up and down so the product tank remains stable; when I'm finished spraying I'm not beat up and can do additional work. The ride is unsurpassable, whether loaded or empty.

I've not had any service problems with my Apache. Just knowing that I can get in, hit the key and "Go" is a great feeling. All around, a lot of thought and engineering went into creating a great machine.
