The product support group at Equipment Technologies Inc. is seeking an Application parts specialist to help grow our after-market parts business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide outstanding customer support to our dealers and growers such that customers rely on you as a valuable resource in their proper use, remote trouble shooting and more.
  2. Conduct operational and technical training for dealers and customers, both in-house and in the field.
  3. Use provided guidelines to accurately prioritize work. Assist with the continual improvement of these guidelines.
  4. Provide after-hours customer support, via phone, for dealers and customers. Includes nights and weekends March thru July.
  5. Contribute to parts support training materials, such as parts manuals and bulletins.
  6. Deliver content in dealer events for in-house training and at dealerships.
  7. Attend to the needs of our customers to ensure customer satisfaction while keeping company interests in mind.
  8. Help maintain our company culture: showing respect for employees and customers, striving for excellence, taking pride in our work and having fun.
  9. Maintain a competent, helpful image through speech, voice inflection and tone that reflects positively in the perception of customers.
  10. Become a student of your profession: keep current with all company produced documents, connect with vendor and industry related sources to stay up to date and seize opportunities for training and betterment.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Problem solving skills used in a professional setting
  • Mechanically inclined and competent in the use of hand tools
  • Professional experience dealing with upset customers and/or conflict situations, proven to provide a calming effect
  • Computer literate with general Microsoft Office applications and have a willingness and ability to learn the needed functions of a business software package or specific applications related to our work
  • Customer support or parts experience is preferred
  • Positive minded
  • Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
  • Honest and trustworthy
  • Constructively work with fellow employees and customers
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Educational Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. A college degree, technical school diploma or certificate is preferred.

Expected Hours of Work:

  • Work hours will vary with our busy season and are subject to change. We anticipate Jan – Mar & Aug– Dec to be 8am – 5pm with 1 hour for lunch, Apr – July is anticipated to be 8am – 5pm with 1 hour for lunch but workload will increase and lunch time could be shorter and staying after 5pm to support customers will be common.


  • 2 weeks per year for customer training, troubleshooting, and/or customer meetings.

Work Environment:

  • The work environment will mostly be seated in an office environment using a computer and a phone headset. During training or investigation of specific problems this will differ. 80% of your time will be on the phone/computer. Primary location is 455 Merriman Road; Mooresville, IN 46158
