Apache Sprayers Celebrates 25 Years

Power, performance, and value–that is what you can expect when you spray with Apache. This year we’re proud to celebrate 25 years of providing premium performance and unbeatable value to our customers. From our leading 5-year warranty to being the only 4-time winner of the “Highest Retained Value” award by EquipmentWatchTM across all equipment and Ag categories – not just sprayers.

Why Apache Sprayers?

From humble beginnings in 1997 to the largest manufacturer of mechanical drive sprayers in the world; It takes a dedicated team to build the most dependable and affordable self-propelled sprayers. And 25 years later Apache Sprayers operates out of a 168,000 square foot headquarters in Mooresville, Indiana where every employee, tool, machine, and technology, within every square inch of our facility, is dedicated to one mission: building the best self-propelled sprayers on the planet.

But don’t just take our word for it, because Apache customers say it better…

“The Apache is my first self-propelled sprayer, and as a first-generation farmer, it was a big step to upgrade from a pull-behind. Not only has my Apache paid for itself, but the fact that I still own the machine today after 7 years says a lot about the value- It is light and nimble and the structure is sound. It’s been a really good machine”.

Eric Orem

“We are 4th generation farmers out of south-central Illinois, and we farm around 6,000 acres of soybean and corn. Being able to cover a massive amount of acres in a day is so critical. Having a sprayer that is dependable, and has a large capacity, like the one we have with Apache is not just efficient, but necessary if you are going to be a top producer.”

— Brad Damery

3 Reasons Apache Sprayers are Better

When it comes to investing in a farm sprayer there are a lot of facts to consider. You work hard for your money and you want to make sure you’re getting the most value and maximum productivity from your farm equipment. That’s why we produce the best, most efficient, and affordable agricultural sprayers in the industry and back it with the best warranty on the market. Keep reading to find out the 3 reasons Apache Sprayers are better.

1. Return on Investment

Value is always a factor to consider when investing in farm equipment and agricultural sprayers are no exception. After all, farming is a business, and return on investment matters. In fact, Apache Sprayers are favored by profit-focused farmers who want the highest possible return on their investment.

And speaking of return on investment, with Apache you can spray for as little as $3 an acre! But don’t just take our word for it because our customers say it best.

“The dependability, the pricing and the serviceability – it’s the complete package.  It was a no brainer to me.  our custom applicators were in the $5-$7 range.  We’re comfortably underneath $3/acre with our Apache sprayer and that would be a high number for me.”

Pervis Ellis Harrisburg, Illinois

In addition, Apache Sprayers by Equipment Technologies is one of the first in the U.S. to adopt Cummins Performance Series power- this means an increase in both power and savings. “With the new Cummins Performance Series engines, Apache sprayers receive a performance boost of up to 15% due to the increased power and torque available throughout the engine speed range. They are also more productive on the farm, saving farmers 8% in fuel with an overall combined fuel and Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) saving of 3%. Not only does this have significant environmental and sustainability benefits, but it also lowers operating costs – which is a big win for our customers.

AS1250 and AS1250XP Sprayers are equipped with Cummins Performance Series engine.

2. Best Warranty in the Industry

The best sprayer on the market is backed by the industry’s best warranty. Every Apache that rolls off the assembly line comes with a five-year limited warranty. Apache Sprayers by Equipment Technologies is the only manufacturer with full machine coverage for the first two years (<1,000 hrs).

While other Ag equipment manufacturers attempt to produce everything from combines to sprayers to lawn mowers, we have stayed true to our vision since the beginning. We focus all of our resources on creating the best agricultural sprayers in the industry and then we put all our cards on the table with the industry’s best 5-year powertrain warranty.

“For ET to be able to put a 5-year warranty on a piece of equipment says they definitely stand behind it and feel like they’ve done the best they can in building a quality product.”

Nate Kuntz Covington Ohio

3. Highest Retained Value

Apache Sprayers is proud to deliver customers unbeatable value, year after In fact, this year EquipmentWatch™ named AS Series Sprayers as a four-time award winner for Highest Retained Value (across all product categories – not just sprayers).

“For purchasers of equipment, there is perhaps no single measurement more influential in the buying decision process,” said Garrett Schemmel, Vice President of EquipmentWatch. “The residual value of an asset will have a significant impact on leasing terms and lifetime ownership costs. Informed buyers do well to weigh value retention heavily when considering equipment acquisition”.

“I think the retained value just goes to show how well these machines can hold up and how long they’ll last. I’ve kept track of how much my machine is worth today, and actually, I could sell it for about $20,000 more than what I bought it for three years ago.”

– Jared Wagner (Danville, Iowa)
“The Highest Retained Value Award is indicative of excellence across a manufacturing organization,” Schemmel said. “Product quality has the most obvious impact on an asset’s performance on the secondary market, but residual values are also highly impacted by brand affinity and fair original pricing. A manufacturer must excel on all three fronts to gain recognition as a Highest Retained Value Award winner.”

Dare to Compare: Apache Sprayers Cost Less, Weigh Less & Deliver More

Not all large capacity sprayers are created equal. In fact, when it comes to investing in a farm sprayer there are a lot of bells-and-whistles to consider. Keep reading to find out why Apache Sprayers consistently beat the competition.

Apache Sprayers Weigh Less

Heavier sprayers consume more fuel and can cause soil compaction. Ever wondered what makes them heavier in the first place? Typically, it’s due to additional parts and components that you may someday have to replace. More horsepower is required to move the machine and its chemical product load. Lighter sprayers like the Apache get the same job done while using less horsepower and fuel. Plus, they create less soil compaction for increased crop yields.

Did you know that Apache AS1250 weighs on average 68% less than the competition?

Simplicity, Reliability & Durability are Priceless

That is what you get with the simple mechanical drive and reliable Apache AS 1250 and AS1250XP. Built using common parts that are easily repaired using regular tools puts you in control and means less hassle. Less is truly more when it comes to price, weight, maintenance, and repairs. And don’t mistake simplicity for less comfort. The AS1250 and AS1250XP (Extra Power) comes equipped with features like independent air suspension that makes the AS1250 the smoothest ride in the field, and a leather seat for all-day comfort.

With the competition, you might lose a day or two waiting for a repair tech, causing an even bigger dent in your wallet. All Apache Sprayers are built right here in America using common tools and parts. That means when you need help your calls are answered right here in Indiana.

Apache Sprayers are made with common parts that can be repaired with common tools. And precision upgrades come equipped with 24/7 remote in cab service.

Because Value is Invaluable

Price is always a factor when investing in farm equipment and agricultural sprayers are no exception. After all, farming is a business, and return on investment matters and so does overall value and resale value. Value, Simplicity, and Reliability is what Apache Sprayers is known for and that’s why Apache Sprayers ranks #1 for the highest resale value in the industry by EquipmentWatch four times and counting!

Did you know that on average Apache Sprayer cost 34% less than the competition?

How does the Apache AS1250 stack up against the competition?

Apache Sprayers
Costs Less,
Weighs Less and
Delivers More.

In fact, other sprayers weigh up to 68% more and cost up to 34% more than Apache. Heavier sprayers consume more fuel and cause more soil compaction. Lighter sprayers like Apache get the same job – while using less horsepower and fuel – plus they create less soil compaction for increased crop yields. With the highest retained value and the best warranty in the industry. It’s never been a better time to own an Apache.

Because not all fields are flat…

Introducing the AS650, the best small self-propelled sprayer in the industry. Rugged and nimble, the AS650 is one tough sprayer built to go where others won’t dare.

Don’t just take our word for it, hear what farmers say about Apache.

“We crawl on a lot of steep hills over 40% slopes.  My neighbors have started calling my Apache the ‘billy goat’ because it seems to crawl wherever I need to go – wet conditions, fully loaded – I don’t hesitate to take it anywhere.”

John McCall
Waitsburg, WA

Most of the country around here is 15-35% grade and there’s a hill that they measured at 46%, and I spray it!  I’ve always been very, very pleased with Apache’s weight ratio and what it does out there in the field as far as tracks and things.  It covers the bases very well.

Kevin Wagner
Farmington, Washington

Apache AS650

Product Tank Capacity: 650 gallons
Weight: 16,900 lbs
Engine: Cummins T4F
Transmission: JCB Power shift 4- speed
Crop Clearance: 42″ or 48″ depending on tire selection

The AS650 is compact, lightweight, and agile — and the most affordable small self-propelled sprayer in the industry.  Built for the farmer who wants to upgrade from a pull-behind to a self-propelled or for the larger producer that needs an agile extra sprayer. Whether it’s the first, second, or third sprayer in the operation, spray applications will be brought to the next level of precision with the AS650, the best small farm sprayer in the industry.

How does the Apache AS650 stack up against the competition?

The first opportunity I had to sit inside the Apache Sprayer made me feel like I was in control.  The all-new cab in the Apache will make it easy to spend an entire spray day inside the machine.  It’s more operator-friendly with a luxury look.  You can’t ask for anything better than that.
